We've been working on these 3 beautiful casitas here in San Carlos since May and they are now ready to rent. Each unit is 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a full kitchen that includes refrigerator, stove/over, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, breakfast nook and drinking water dispenser.
In the living rooms there is a couch, love seat and another matching chair as well as American Satellite Tv. There also a Dining room table that will easily seat 4 adults. Each unit is completely tiled and has heating and cooling and includes 5 ceiling fans.
Outside we have a property that is located across the street from the Golf Course in the gated San Carlos Country Club which is located in the middle of town. We have an outdoor palapa (covered area) that has a built in charcoal grill and sink and has great afternoon breezes as well as views of Tetakawi mountain, the golf course and a little view of the Sea of Cortez. Tres Casitas also has its own private swimming pool and plenty of parking.
San Carlos itself is a town full of beaches, restaurants with plenty of things to see and do. There are 2 marinas here for all your boating needs. San Carlos is known for its great scuba diving/snorkeling, fishing, boating to the local islands, biking and hiking in the local hills, mountains and trails. There is also the local estuary where you can Kayak amid mangroves and see all types of wildlife. Theres also plenty of places to just kick back on the beach and take it easy. One place even has hammocks for you to relax in and they'll bring your drinks to you! San Carlos has many fall, winter and spring visitors from the U.S. and Canada so its not hard to find someone to speak english. Even in the summer many people come in from other countries for the great fishing when other types of fish migrate to the very warm waters.
Nearby (15 minutes) is the city of Guaymas which is a predominatly Mexican city that has all the major shopping you could need and will also be a cruise line destination within the next 1 1/2 years when the new marina is completed.

Pics from San Carlos Beaches
Here are a few pics that were taken out at the Hang Out or Soggy Peso Bar (goes by both names) out on the west end of town near the Paradiso Resort. Its a great little bar out on a gorgeous beach that serves food and has hammocks to lie in. For relaxing and watching the sun set over the water, its the place to be.
Nacapule Canyon in San Carlos
Here are just a few picture of Nacapule Canyon which begins just a couple miles out of town and is a nice hike that gets a little bit tougher the farther up you go. There are palm tree growing there and a little running water that forms a totally different ecosystem than that of the desert and beaches around it.
The cute little critters here are white nosed Coatamundi which scurried up the side of the canyon walls when we walked through. They were as curious of us as we were of them.
The last picture was taken from the end of the canyon looking back out toward the Sea of Cortez in San Carlos.
